Creamy Truffle & Mushroom Pasta

Creamy Truffle & Mushroom Pasta

Creamy Truffle & Mushroom Pasta. All the flavors of rich truffle combined with fresh mushrooms in a creamy sauce that is one word…decadent. Using Urbani truffles to perfect this truffle flavor !!

Heading into fall…unfortunately for me…but that means alllll the comfy cozy creamy delicious pastas. This is one that we have made in the past and it is just so decadent and rich with flavors of truffle. Paired with the fresh mushrooms…the combination just cannot be beat.

And it definitely has that cozy pasta vibe which makes it perfect for fall or Sundays or honestly just any day of the week because it is just that good. And I mean it’s hard not to love the taste of truffles. They are definitely a rich flavor but one of the better flavors in my opinion.

While we have been sharing some fall recipes…don’t worry we still have some more summer ones coming your way. We will be spending this weekend at the beach which always means summery and beachy dishes. The weather is looking gorgeous for this weekend so I am definitely excited to be keeping both my tan and summer recipes alive !!

Ingredients

  • 1 (6.4 ounce) can Urbani white truffle and mushroom

  • 2 cups heavy cream

  • 3 tablespoons Urbani white truffle oil

  • Urbani white truffle salt to taste

  • 1/4 cup parmesan reggiano

  • 1/4 cup butter

  • 1 pound mushrooms; sliced

  • 1 pound pasta

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, add the Urbani truffles with mushrooms and the heavy cream. Cook over low heat until warmed and combined. Add the truffle oil and sprinkle with the truffle salt. Add the parmesan cheese and cook for about 5 - 8 minutes until thickened. Keep warm.

  2. In a medium skillet, melt the butter. Add the mushrooms. Cook undistributed for about 10 minutes. Stir and cook until liquid has evaporated. Set aside.

  3. Cook the pasta. Drain, saving 1 cup of cooking water. Add the pasta to the skillet with the truffle sauce. Toss to combine and add pasta water as needed. Serve topped with mushrooms.
