Breakfast Sliders

We have found the perfect breakfast for a fun Saturday or Sunday brunch and it is these Breakfast Sliders! We love these because you can get really creative with them and make them however you please! We will definitely be making these again this summer, probably with a different twist than the ones we are sharing with you today. We have so many more ideas for these delicious little breakfast sandwiches.

We made these Breakfast Sliders over 4th of July weekend on Saturday, and they made for a perfectly easy and fun brunch. We decided to make two different kinds. One kind include a layering of scrambled eggs, bacon, and american cheese. The other kind we decided to go for was a smoked salmon slider with cream cheese, tomato, cucumber, and chives. Both were absolutely delicious, and we paired them with some bubbly and fresh squeezed orange juice to make things even more fun. Mimosas and Breakfast Sliders really made our 4th of July weekend brunch an enjoyable one!


a.     Ingredients for Eggs & Bacon Sliders:

  • 8 eggs; beaten with salt

  • ½ pound of bacon

  • 4 slices of American cheese

  • 2 tbsp of butter

  • 8 brioche slider buns

b.     Directions:

  1. Melt butter in a large skill, add the beaten eggs and scramble

  2. Meanwhile cook the bacon until crisp and drain on paper towels

  3. Assemble the sliders layering the scrambled eggs first then add ½ a slice of cheese folded in half, top with bacon and top of bun


c.     Ingredients for Smoked Salmon Sliders:

  • 8 oz of smoked salmon

  • 1 cucumber; sliced into rounds

  • 2 Roma tomatoes; sliced

  • 1 small container of whipped cream cheese (we used chive flavored)

  • Fresh chives; chopped

  • Fresh cracked pepper

  • 8 brioche slider buns

d.     Directions:

  1. Assemble sliders by spreading cream cheese on both the top and bottom of the buns

  2. Layer the salmon, tomato, and cucumber

  3. Sprinkle with fresh chives and black pepper
