Since we have already shared the main course and dessert of our Father’s Day 2019 meal, we decided it was time to share what we paired with our Gnocchi dish on this special occasion!

My dad loves a good gnocchi dish, so the Gnocchi in the Blue Cheese & Spinach cream sauce was perfect and super decadent. However, another one of my dad’s favorite dishes is Grilled Lamb Chops! They are so perfect to pair with any Sunday pasta dish, and they have so much flavor. We marinate ours in a mixture of olive oil, white wine, minced garlic, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Then we grill them to perfection and squeeze fresh lemon juice over top. They’re an unbeatable dish to serve whether it is a family dinner or small gathering!

a.     Ingredients:

  • 8 – 10 rib lamb chops

  • ¼ cup of olive oil

  • 1/3 cup of white wine

  • 1 garlic clove; minced

  • 2 tbsp of chopped fresh rosemary

  • Salt and coarse ground black pepper

  • Juice of 1 lemon


b.     Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients except lamb in a glass baking dish large enough to hold the lamb chops; mix thoroughly then add the lamb chops and marinate for 2 hours turning frequently

  2. Prepare your grill on medium heat and grill lamb chops 3 minutes on each side

  3. Serve with fresh squeezed lemon
