Broccoli Rabe Au Gratin

Broccoli Rabe Au Gratin

Broccoli Rabe Au Gratin. Cheesy, gooey, delicious goodness for some nice monday comfort food. Extra cheesy, saucy, and creamy broccoli rabe topped with red pepper flakes and basil and served with crusty bread to soak up all that creamy and cheesy deliciousness. Happy Easter Monday guys !!

Every knows and loves the classic potatoes au gratin. But have you ever tried a broccoli rabe style au gratin?! If you haven't, I highly recommend it because the au gratin style is perfect with broccoli rabe too. And I mean, anything that is cheesy, creamy, and saucy is totally delicious, am I right?!

So if you’re looking for a fun way to change up your veggies, this is definitely going to need to be your new go to. I mean you could substitute the broccoli rabe for just about any old veggie, but we are biiiiig broccoli rabe fans so we are all about this one.

It’s pretty simple, but it’s loaded with cheese, it’s a little spicy from the red pepper flakes, and it’s got a creamy filling that makes it super saucy. And it’s perfectly baked so that the cheese and the broccoli rabe is all crispy on the top, but the middle cheesy, gooey, and saucy. It’s a decadent combination of flavors.

This was a super cozy dish to start our week with today. It’s really dreary and rainy this Monday, and we are coming off of easter weekend so you know the scaries are in full effect this week. Especially because this weekend was a four day weekend for me. I took off work today so we could take our annual easter Monday mall trip with my mom, aunt, and cousin. So you already know the Monday scaries are now hitting big time for me…but hope you all had a great easter weekend, I know our family did !!
